Anybody starting to second guess winterizing their boat this year? This warm weather is depressing. We need some ice.

Forecast calls for mid to upper 40’s here in MPLS on Saturday with highs in the 30’s every other day.

I think it’s time to plan an IDO ice fishing road trip. Anyone interested in a group trip to Ontario for walleyes, crappies and lakers?

Obviously ice isn’t coming to us. Time to go to the ice.

Sign me up. New Otter Cottage, new LX7 and little to no ice to put it on. A trip up’nort sounds great!

I would get the boat out. I hit the Upper Mississippi this weekend. Fishing home waters on Pool 11 and we ended up with a nice pile of saugers. My buddy is heading to South Dakota, heard there was ice that way and he lived in Brookings for 5 years. Wish I could get outta work and go, but I need the paycheck.

I usually don’t have 50 fish (walleye and sauger) days on my home lake on the ice, so I am ok with it

I wouldn’t call this weather horrible!!!

We were considering taking the boat out tomorrow, winterized or not, but I think we’re just going to throw some jigs instead. 61 or so tomorrow, so I hope the wind doesn’t kick up too bad. Still gonna be a great day to be out…can’t wait!!!
