    I like blue … guess I will just have to live with it that color .. THANKS for trying …

    Honestly, I don’t think there is. This video does a comparison between the “X” units and the standard units. The X units are not customizable almost at all. In the sonar settings the only thing you change is the depth offset. It’s just a more basic unit, but should still mark fish just fine, tell you how fast you’re going and allow you to mark waypoints, even though there’s no map under the waypoints.

    Doug,do you have the hook2 5 or the hook2 5x? Any x models do not have split screens.I have hook2 5x.Turn on go to top left button press once is sonar, twice is flasher,three times is downscan.You have to go through this sequence every time you turn unit on.When I first turned unit on in simulation mode,my downscan mode was green,a few minutes later it was blue and I can’t find a way to change back to green.Even when I hit palette button.
