Iv had my Jiffy Power pro 4 for 2 years now and has been running great but at the beginning of last season when it was on idle it would continue to spin can’t find out how to fix it i think the cable on the thorttle is to short and pulls it back to far and if any one can help me that would be extremely appreciated thxs

I would try posting this in the ice fishing forum, or outdoor gear. Should be able to adjust throttle cable or the idle, or the clutch spring. Good luck.

Turn idle screw down on the carb. Looks like jiffy has made a video just for you!

Mine does the same thing, usually. I just touch it to the side of the hole and it stops. I understand this could be an issue inside a shelter, but I see it as a non-issue (for me).

My Pro 4 Lite had this issue (among others) right out of the box. Adjusting the set screw on the carb fixes it.

I have to keep a screwdriver with me at all times to adjust the set screw on the carb, because it needs adjustment depending on the outside ambient temperature.

Hate my pro 4 lite. This will be my last year with this lemon and jiffy in general (their color says it all). I’m going electric.
