Need help with a troll master on Yamaha 15hp

    Anyone on here have a troll master specifically on a Yamaha 15hp. Having issues with the cam not returning to low idle and clearance to the cowling. Tech support wasn’t any help

    That was a test run I did. The install guide from Troll Master is way off. Their suggestion on install doesn’t fit or work. I just did a complete delete of the tiller and linkage. Found a better place to mount the servo that fits in the cowling. Down fall is it can be started in gear or can shift at high rpm. Otherwise, works awesome

    Make sure the wires for the servo are not near any spark plug wires, they will pick up stray induction electriciry and make the servo hold higher levels of throtttle.
    Also any extra wire should be wrapped in fig 8 shape rather than a circle coil.
