We like to camp a lot so my wife came up with the name Kamper for our black lab.
People names are always fun for pets. Lucy and Brooke would be good names. Think of some famous names you like – authors, actresses, comic book heroes or villains. Or names of colors. I always thought Blue would be a cool name for a dog, but that might be better suited for a male dog.

Blucy! You’re welcome.
Blucy! Oh I kinda like that! The idea of combining two names is always fun. That will surely create an uncommon name. Max + Penny = Pax or Manny (Mannie for a female?), as an example.
I have gone with TEAL and TEEGAN so far for my two female labs I have had. Whatever you pick it will be the right name for her! RR

Our dogs name is Gertrude, We call her Gerty.
How about Hillary? Think of the fun you can have:
“Shut up, Hillary”.
“Get off the furniture, Hillary”.
“Heel, Hillary”.
“Go lay down, Hillary”.
Yea, good times….

My female black labs names are
NOVA and LUNA……. Don’t think I’ve ever run into another dog with the same names. People seem to like the names at hunting camp.
I think last year there was a IDO guy who asked the same thing, and they picked Nova after my suggestion!
I think it was a GOLDEN
Balveni, Dalmor, LeDaig, Ichiro
Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Kate Moss, Heidi Klum, Gisele Bundchen
Baikal, Aix, Saxony, Pekin, harlequin, Eider, Tundra, Squaw
Capri, Lucia, Kauaʻi, Ko Phi Phi, Sardinia, Palawan, Bora
Well, Gisele Bundchen may not resemble a dog; but hopefully your dog could resemble Gisele
I like looking at scientific names after trees, birds, mammals, etc. My 13 year old chocolate lab is named Salix. Salix is the scientific name for willow. Gavia is the scientific name for our state bird, the common loon. Just a comparison. Plus there is endless supply of creatures and foliage to choose from. Just an idea….
You can google Native American dog names, there are some pretty cool ones.

my daughter and her fiance got a puppy about two months ago and named her Luna. This is a name my daughter has had in mind for several years.
what ? black magic after all the suggestions ? what’s wrong with Kita ?
The gf dog name when I met her was Kat and are new puppy is named Phish. The name Phish started out as a joke since I did not like any of the names she had so I suggested Phish as a joke and it stuck.
