I’m building my own boat ramp but can’t seem to find this winch support bracket anywhere for sale online. Does anybody know what it’s called or who might sell it? Or does anybody know of another product that’s similar?

I would think any metal fabricator could whip one up easy if you can’t find a factory one,

What happened to the 4×4 with supports? I thought you had this wrapped up by now?

Trying to build this as cheap and lightweight as possible as I hardly ever use the aluminum boat and want to be able to easily pull it up on shore in the fall. I found 20 roller wheels and a new winch for $25, so now just need the winch stand before I buy the lumber, this metal winch stand looks better designed than just bolting a 4×4 to the ramp frame.

Looks to me that it was built in someone’s garage. Go to the scrap yard and get some angle iron and a piece of plate and weld or bolt it together, simple job.

By looking at your picture I think they are using angel iron, pending n weight of boat I would think 3/16 would work just fine .

I thought that too, but the ramp wheels in the picture (you can’t see as I cropped the image to only show the winch post) are the exact same kind I found on c-list, so I’m assuming it’s all part of a kit you could buy many years ago before ShoreDocker came along….

Thanks to all for the replies! I think i’ll just fabricate my own design
