Does anyone know who the go to guy/company is for a single load of black dirt in the East Metro? I need 7 yards and I don’t want to pay the stupid/crazy prices the landscape places want.

This is strictly a cash deal. Anybody know the go-to guy for this kind of partial load deal?

    Many thanks.

Stick a ad on Craigslist. Lots of guys running around with dump trailers. BTW, what isn’t a stupid / crazy price for a person who invests $1000’s into the equipment to do these jobs?

The landscape companies want somewhere between double and triple the price per yard of what my old independent trucker charged plus they want a delivery fee. It’s like they’re trying to pay off their shiny new equipment on this weeks hauling alone.

My now retired delivery guy was hauling it all of 7 miles and making $75 for his delivery fee plus material in the process. Seems like a pretty good price per loaded mile to me, but what do I know, there might be lots of places out there paying $10 a loaded mile. roll

Try patio town out of Oakdale. Last time I used them it was reasonable.

Thanks guys. Burbel’s delivery is reasonable and material price in line with other suppliers.

I HATE buying stuff like this because there are so many places with just pure ripoff prices.

Just rent a truck from Home Depot and haul it yourself.
