Need advice on a 3rd spinning rod

I’ve saved my pennies, collected bonus points, and have been selling off some older tackle to upgrade my spinning rods. I just purchased a 6-8 MXF Legend Elite for my jig pitching, and I already own a Legend Tournament Walleye 6-3 MXF that I really like for vertical jigging.

Now I want to add one more nicer rod to round out my walleye spinning rods. The other techniques I have in mind are jig dragging and blades.

    Any suggestions?

    Dave,

Are you planning on dragging from the back or front of the boat? If you are dragging with more than one person in the boat, I like to have longer rods when dragging from the front deck of the boat.

You already know what I use for blades.

Thanks, FDR and Jeff. That MLXF was what I had in mind.

Francis, I guess it just depends on if I’m alone or not regarding where I sit when I drag.

get a mlxf rod. I’d also recommend the ES610MLXF. You will have all your jigging/blades bases covered.
