Due to the Canada border closing, we are looking for a place in Minnesota for late August/early September. We like to fish for smallmouth and walleyes. We would like to find a secluded camping/fishing spot on lake Kabetogama. All suggestions would be appreciated.

Ditto on Dutchboy’s comment. Look at the Voyageurs National Park website. It has very good campsite maps on all the lakes and you can find a couple photos of the sites too. The reservation system is pretty easy to navigate an will show vacancies too.

Campsites in the park are by reservation only. Small campsites (2 tent pads, 2 bear boxes, picnic table, fire ring, latrine) are $20 per night plus a $10 reservation fee. Reservations can be made here:
