YouTube may be your friend here. I attempted to look up on YouTube and Google search for schematic of your trigger but more information is needed. Sounds like they have used more than one trigger over the years. Hopefully you can find this information. If you need further help I suggest you call Savage tech service and have your guns serial number at the ready.
