Heading to work in Minot for a few weeks just wondering if there are any decent walleye spots I could fish from shore at. And what’s the cost of an out of state lic for the season or a 2 day pass

The Garrison Tailrace…50 yards of rip rap to walk to get to the water.. many locals fish there.

If it’s like the rip-rap below Oahe, I’d plan to cast count down Rapalas at night. Catch all kinds of stuff. During the daylight, jigging will work if you can find some current seams. However, it’s usually ripping pretty good in these areas if they are running much water at all.
