Did anyone do the nonresident opener in ND? It’ll be our 3rd year hunting zone 1 and I’ve read some reports that there’s a lot of flooded area making things difficult. Just curious how conditions are. Not looking for your honey hole.

Honestly it’s been one of the worst years I’ve seen. Not many ducks around and because of all the recent rain they are very spread out. I’m a resident and have been out twice seen a decent amount of candians but only gotten 6 ducks total

Spent 3 days hunting zone 1 this week. Put 1500 miles on the truck from the time I left St. Paul until I was back home so we did a ton of scouting. Not much for mallards but the diver hunting was amazing once you found them. Lots of bluebills and canvasbacks. Last morning we hunted the blizzard was starting to settle in. Made for an amazing hunt.
