Heading to the Garrison area this weekend. Will hunt Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Normally this time of year we are starting to see frozen ponds, some snow, etc. Doesn’t look like that is in the cards.
What is the migration looking like central ND? Snow geese in the area? Big flocks of mallards? Anyone been out there?

Sounds like some Snows are moving in, some pot holes dried up, some guys having luck getting on land where others are not so lucky.

Can’t believe we were early on Nov. 9-11! We scouted well and found local birds but never field hunted or saw more than 10 snow geese.
We had to roost shoot which is normally a no-no but it’s all we had. Dog did well so that was great to see.
My guess is that they’ll burn through ND in a week.
