Looking to make a hunting trip out to ND later this winter for some dogs. Know a guy in the bismarck area and was looking to hunt around there. Don’t know much about hunting out there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Get in touch with as many cattle ranchers as you can when you’re out there. Stop in at local hangouts, cafe, bar, feed stores, etc and ask.
Nobody who has cattle, likes coyotes. Also, they will be good sources of the high % areas where they consistently see coyotes, so you’ll be calling higher % areas rather than trial and error.
It may help your case to bring shotguns in case landowners are reluctant to let someone loose on their land with rifles due to the risk of livestock being hit.

Also can u hunt them at night out their? So a guy knows to plan for the moon phase?
