Wow, did anyone in the college ranks predict the drastic drop off?

Live near Rochester and not one mention… Missed the games last night. Sounds like the Sioux/Denver game was a good watch…

Quinnipiac vs Sioux for all the glory. About the same number of non-US born players on each roster. Couple MN boys on Q roster. Can they live a childhood dream?

    Bring back the WCHA. (LOL)

Quinnipiac vs Sioux The Fighting Hawks for all the glory.

There. I fixed that for you. Can’t have any use of politically incorrect mascot names on these fine forums.

    I watched both games.

I was disappointed that BC didn’t make it because of the Wild draft picks playing for BC, but got show overall by them in the tournament. Question is will Tuch be re-upping with BC or is he going pro?

It’s interesting a lot of people are talking about the Canadians on both sides. Goes back to the Woog “MN Only” days when that was a putdown on the other MN and WCHA schools that they had to rely on imports to be competitive. Obviously, if you look at college hockey now and way the players are coming in, good luck to any coach who wants to try to recruit only 18 year old Americans.

North Dakota is going to give Quinn all they can handle. ND has to go in playing their game, though, they got sidetracked a little with Denver in the first period trying to play a hard hitting game, they need to do their own thing from the opening drop.

Nice to see the Nodaks whip Quinnipiacs buttski. Total domination. What a lineup north Dakota had.

I wouldn’t say it was a whipping. It could have gone either way through 2 periods. I have a hard time saying good job to ND but at least they are a midwest team.

    5-1 and a shorthanded goal ain’t a whupping?!

    It was men against boys.

    Great game.

I’d like to hear what rookie coach Brad Berry said after the 2nd period. That was a amazing 3rd period whooping.

    Go Sioux!

They were whipped in the 3rd but not the 1st and second.

Here, here to the Sioux! Where dad went to school that is politically correct. Oh wait, he went to UND peace

Good games to watch. That DU-UND game could have very easily gone either way. College hockey is so much fun to watch.
