With so many Wisconsin people on this site really surprised no one has starting a thread on this. Goes to show how unpopular the NBA is around here I guess. Congratulations to the Bucks!!! First title since the early 70s if I’m not mistaken. Came back from being down 0-2 twice in these playoffs! Giannis did amazing things and looks like the best player in the game!

Enjoy it millwakee the wolves are coming for your crown!! Jk. Sort of…

I’m from Wisconsin. Glad they won. But winning a NBA championship is like winning the 4th place game IMO. Would much rather see my hockey team, football team, or baseball team win instead.

When you have a superstar as humble as Giannis it’s tough not to root for this team and that guy. He could of left and forged a super team like all the big time players in the league do under the current system, instead he stayed in Milwaukee and delivered on his championship promise.
Wouldnt be surprised if he adds more rings in the near future as he reaches his full potential. He won this ring at a younger age (26) than Jordan and any other recent superstar you can think of.

X2. Refreshing to see him stay in a small market team. I hate how the NBA is run by the top 15 players.

I agree the Greek Freak is a breath of fresh air, and having 2 new teams actually got me to tune in for most of it. Fun series, and two young amazing superstar in Booker and Giannis. Hopefully this is a trend for the NBA. But I have a feeling it will be back to Super Team Square off next year, as guys come back from injury and realign to make it easier to reach the Finals. As good as this series was to watch (except the officiating), these teams likely don’t make it there without a ton of injuries on nearly every other contender.

Just a matter of time before the Brewers win a title too. What a great sports state to live in

Let’s not forget that the Packers have won more World Championships than the rest of the NFL.

It’s great to be from Wisconsin!
