I have both a Humminbird and Lowrance and am curious what other’s thoughts are based on which sets of maps are better and any additional thoughts on the quality or detail of the two.

Both chips are really good but if I were to split hairs, I prefer the Navionics for Pool 3 and 4 and the Lakemaster for the St. Croix.
Both 2010 chips so the newer ones may be different.

Jerr what units do you have? If you go to the Navionics website you can preview the mapping on any lake in question, click on the sonar icon on the lower left corner for the High def SonarCharts view available to view on certain sonars
