Here’s a head scratcher for you. I have always felt Navionics mobile was seriously lacking and inaccurate when I was back home in Minnesota. I would use it ice fishing when walking out and the humps were always way off. Now I’ve been using it down here in Florida and here’s the weird part. In areas where hurricanes changed the topography often and tides shift often I’m finding Navionics mobile to be ridiculously accurate. Finding little potholes in the mangrove swamps has been productive.

Lots of nice fish there! I have long believed that Navionics was far better in coastal waters than inland stuff especially up here. I have used it on my phone for probably 15 years and its passable, but as you say far from accurate in all cases. My subscription lapsed now I have to update. I had the original version from WAY back that I could just install on each new phone and never update, but somehow that got lost along the way. The new stuff isnt as good even though its updated.

. Thanks. It has been a better bite offshore but the inshore stuff is a blast.

For what it’s worth one boat network is awesome . Has all the US lake master chips for I think 30 bucks a year . Used it all weekend in South Dakota .

. Down here for inshore it’s Florida Marine Tracks. Not cheap and only runs on select units. But it’s all but a requirement inshore. Those oyster beds and limestone outcroppings seem to pop up out of nowhere. I use Navionics to find the random potholes in the limestone flats. I tried running without Florida Marine Tracks once, and only once. I came home and spent the money on a new Simrad 9” and Florida Marine Tracks.
