I am using the android version and the lake is split in half, with the other side being Canada. If I am going on a trip to LOW would I have to buy the Canada map for LOW? I assume my old lakemaster chip only covers half the lake as well?

Will you be fishing on the Canadian side? If not you should have what you’ll need.

The lakemaster chip may not even have ANY of lake of the woods on it unless you have the LOW/Rainy chip.

Regarding the Navionics app, not sure which version you have, but I have US & Canada. What you will notice once you get deeper in LOW in Canada a ways that you no longer have high definition contours, but it is mapped with depth and hazards.

Unless you are planning on crossing the border you do not need the Canada side. Remember if you do cross the border you will need the required permits and paperwork no matter if you’re fishing or just taking a drive.

This is what the US/Canada version looks like.
