    I cought this guy today not sure if it’s just a big river shiner or what? Maybe someone here will know

    That looks like a golden shiner to me.

    I was thinking shiner as well I just never caught one on the ice before but now that I know they are there I know what the big pike in the lake are getting fat on

    No deal bawling but I will keep that in mind for some big water fishing if it ever gets cold enough to ice the bigger lakes around here
