Decided to give the Rock a rest today, and go for a change of scenery. Hit Nagawicka lake dragging suckers for our fist time out this fall. Boated 8 smallies 15 to 19 inches, plus a pike. Missed 5 other pick-ups. Best action was in 25 fow. If history repeats itself, the bite should stay decent till ice. water temps ranged from 45 to 47.

Nice fish Z! Didn’t see the photos on your LL post but those are some pretty looking Nag smallies! Well done!

I don’t post very often on the other site…too much drama at times.
I see that you’re fairly new to IDO…welcome.
Was hoping to chase some of them smallies again today, but weather scared me off. Looking at the forecast, could be iced up early again this year, like last. Two or three years ago, we were out there in December putting the smack-down on the smallies and pike.

I hear ya! Don’t blame you one bit on the LL front!

Cold and breezy one for certain lately!

Just made the trip to Chippewa Falls to get the boat winterized and buttoned up. Time to start preparing gear for ice.

Nag through the ice is a gem as well. Have a great season and hope to share some reports back and forth with you!
