Robert Herjavec (sp?) from Shark Tank has partnered to start the Small Business Revolution. The Small Business Revolution on Main Street is seeking out America’s most inspiring small towns, and each season, we’re awarding a winner with a $500,000 revitalization and featuring the transformation in an eight-episode series.

We asked Americans to nominate which small town should receive a $500,000 revitalization and be featured in season two of the Small Business Revolution on Main Street. From 14,000 nominations, we determined a short list of eight. Watch the video below to learn more about each town that’s in the running! Now, we’ll visit these towns and determine our official finalists, putting them up for a vote in February. In the meantime, watch season one to see what’s at stake for these lucky towns that made the short list for season two

I was watching all of this Small Business Revolution stuff and was scratching my head like normal.

I’m up to speed now. It’s going to be interesting on how Red Wing shakes out compared to the 7 other cities. I’m betting pretty dang good but then I don’t know anything about the others.

No problem, I was a little confused about what it was so I clicked on the Sponsored link on FB (which I rarely ever do), and was surprised to see Red Wing as one of the 8 finalists. It will be interesting to see the episodes, and if they win what they do with the money. Either way I’ll still be visiting frequently…if the ramps are open anyway!

I haven’t heard if the ramps are open this year or not.
