Sat and Sun were awesome days yo be out. Windy, crappy, light rain… either kept guys from hunting or isolated to a blind. Was so much fun at our place. All the deer were on natural behavior and we saw quite a few. As many as 20+ at a time.

My buddy Don took a nice mature buck and passed on a lot of young ones. Doesn’t lol at big but dressedout at about 200 on a scale.
Olivia took a scrappy fighter. On Oct 26th, this buck had its full rack. Nice 5×5 and very even. Oct 29th, it had its bro we tines busted. Nov 4th pic had part of the main beam busted. On Nov 8th, more tines and more of the main beam was busted off. Lots of bruises and a few puncture wounds from fighting.

I missed the buck I was looking for. 400yrd chip shot and punched an oak limb I didn’t see. Clean miss. Oh well, didn’t want to fill my tag too soon anyways lol. Back to watching the treeline

I didn’t think about it at the time I took the pic of some of the does grazing. They are standing in front of my 600 yrd target. Brave little critters
