I think it’s time I need a new pillow. Stiff neck and shoulders and a clenched jaw is no fun waking up to… especially at 5:30am on a Saturday! Anyone have one of those My Pillows? Do you recommend them? Thanks in advance!

Heard those are a big marketing scam. Know 3 people who personally have them and all say its just a normal pillow.

I’ve used an orthopedic memory foam pillow for a few years now. Not the most comfortable thing in the world, but haven’t complained of a sore neck once I got used to it. IMO it gives consistency to your head and neck.

I have to disagree with nhamm a little on this, my wife and I both got one a few months back and I love mine. Came to the deer hunting cabin with me even. I had a cervical fusion about 6 years ago and when I first started using it I would wake up and my neck felt a little strange then I realized it had been straight and even supported all night. It is way less stiff than it used to be.

Here’s the kicker, you order based on size, weight, side sleeper, back, etc. If you like a softer and flatter pillow go with a smaller size. My wife’s is a little too much for her and there are nights when I use hers because it’s smaller and softer.

You get 90 days I think to return it if you don’t like it, why not give it a try

I received one as a birthday present a few years ago, based on my size (6’3″ 250lbs) I apparently needed one the size of a Volkswagen Beetle. Tried it for a few nights and threw it in the closet in the middle of the night and went back to my tried and true lightly stuffed flat pillow.

They cost like $89 each. However, if you buy now he will throw in another “My Pillow” free! And…..thats not all. Buy today and get (2) small travel pillows in addition to the regular size pillows.

Let me know how it works.

I dont know anything about this pillow. I can tell you that the guy’s commercials are almost as obnoxious as the 1 877 KARS FOR KIDS advertisement.

I got a couple at the sport show a couple years ago and they are great.its nice to be able to wash them and not have a lumpy pillow afterwards. But you do hafta kinda shape them to your liking every couple of nights. And it took me a week or so to find the right shape for my liking.

They aren’t bad pillows at all but I’m not sure if they are worth the money. The chart says order the size of pillow by your t shirt size and we did that but I think both me and my girlfriend should of gone up a size. She’s a small so we got her the pillow size it suggests but the pillow gets flat quickly. I’d say go up a size because they shrink quickly.

I bought one for both myself and my wife. They are great! Best I’ve ever had.

I was expecting mixed reviews, but people are all over the place here! I posted this on FB as well and it’s the same thing. People either love them or hate them.

I’m still undecided. It’s only been about 5 years since I’ve gotten a new pillow, but perhaps it’s as simple as that – I just need a new one. It’s hard to know how often one should replace them, considering the guidelines of replacing things usually come from the manufacturers. So of course you can expect they’ll say you need a new pillow EVERY year. coffee

I saw fleet farm had a display of “My Pillow” close to the registers. I cant wrap my head around paying that kind of money for a pillow so I walked by them. I later came up to the Under Aromour 3.0 display and felt ripped off. A good freind of mine wanted to give me his 2 pillows, I thought that was odd,I declined his offer.
Like said some like them some may not but when it comes to comfort we all are looking for answers. I use a 2 pillow system with a throw pillow in the mix.

I was gifted one about a year ago. So I have it a try it took a little getting used to few nights to a week then I fell in love with it. My wife laughed at me and mocked me for a while until this summer I went to Lake Michigan salmon fishing for a week and forgot the pillow. Let’s just say I had to buy myself a new one when I came home!

I got two and they just sit in the closet. Got them as a gift and the wife and I couldn’t stand them. Lumpy and couldn’t get used to it.

X2 on the Kars For Kids commercial!!! I can’t turn the volume down quick enough when it comes on.

My wife and I have each had a My Pillow for 4 years and love them. Our dogs get to use the travel size pillows.

I have 3 of them and I wouldn’t go back to any other, got my mom one cause of her back and she, pardon the pun but she loves it, she even takes it when traveling, that said not everyone likes them. I got a sweet deal on mine

My wife and I got a couple as a gift. We tried them one night and we both felt miserable the next day. My head hurt like I had been drinking heavily all night. At least if I had been, I would have had a good reason to feel so miserable. Needless to say, they weren’t for us and they got immediately returned.

Thanks everyone for the input! Apparently I must’ve been in noticeable discomfort because Billy had ran to Menards for something… and he brought me home a new pillow! I’m going to skip the My Pillow for now and see how this one feels. It’s a plush pillow with a memory foam core so it doesn’t go flat in the night. I’m beginning to suspect I’ve been sleeping funny with a flattening pillow. Who knew pillows could be so important for a good sleep, eh?

I’ve had neck problems on and off, went thru a pile of pillows to try and address it. Didn’t ever get a My Pillow because of all the poor reviews and the price.

I did find one that’s just excellent though. It’s called the Mediflow Waterbase pillow, and it runs about $35-45. It has a water bladder underneath the padding that you can fill with anywhere from 1-5 liters of water to adjust the firmness. The water just cups your head and neck perfectly. It also distributes heat nicely so the pillow is always cool. It has become my X-mas gift of choice because people just love them and the price is reasonable. I have one that’s 5 years old and it’s in like-new condition.

Amazon. I never saw it in town, but I never really looked either.

I just googled it. Amazon seems to have limited stock and high prices, but under the ‘shopping’ tab at the top of google, there are numerous sellers at $30-40.
