My new rig – Lund 1625 Fury XL

Slight change of plans from the Alumacraft Escape I had a deposit on. I never really liked the layout of my Alumacraft 160CS Fisherman due to the offset seating arrangement, so I found a 2013 Lund Fury XL that was in fantastic condition, and I really think the side by side config is far more family friendly, its wider, and allows for an install of the bench jump seats for $700 if I want down the line.

Many of you have talked me off the ledge about Mercury, so this will be my first Merc and it sounds like they have really put major auality control into the new models, and features like VesselView really got me interested, so my jump from 25hp to 40hp should be fun.

Thanks to everyone for their input over the last few years, can’t wait to get her out today and see if we can coax any Crappies into positive behavior.

Looks good! I’m looking to order one of those this summer, once I sell off my current 1650 Rebel XL tiller.

I have a 1650 rebel xl with a 60 merc on it. I love it. Wish it were bigger but it’s a nice set up

Another year, another boat? I noticed that boat for sale out in Waconia, looks like it is in nice shape.
