My new boat finally came in!

First off let me say thank you to everyone who helped me in making the decision to purchase my new Lund 1775 Crossover XS. I have learned so much from this website so far. Anyways I though that I would post up some pictures of my first ever brand new boat. Before this I was still using an old 1970 fiberform. This is a custom color not even listed as an option through lund but the dealer got them to do it so that the gunnels aren’t black. They flip flopped the color scheme essentially for us. I went with the Mercury 150 4s and a 9.9 pro kicker (remote) as well as a terrova 80lb ipilot link. Went with the new helix 10 SI on a cisco mount also. Pilots seats, all air ride pedestals, snap in carpet, Ski package, upgraded stereo, bow filler plate, lots of misc sportrak accessories, RAM trolling motor stabilizer, quick release plate on the minnkota, load guides, spare tire, custom cover, ect. All in all it is an amazing boat for how I fish and I think that we will be really happy with it. This is one heck of an upgrade from the old boat that it for sure. We ordered the boat back in January at the Denver Boat Show and have been very impatiently waiting for its arrival ever since. Now if the lakes would just thaw out we would be in good shape.

Are you going to want one more removable seat for one in the bow and one for the rear deck while fishing with 2 to 3 anglers?

I debated this for quite a while before I ordered the boat and at one time I actually had another one on the sale bill but removed it at the last minute. Ordinarily it is just me and one other person fishing and we troll 90% of the time which is why we went with the nicer stationary seats instead. The other 10% of the time we are either casting or jigging so at those times I may miss another seat. I also was contemplating a bicycle seat for the front but I just can’t decide. I will have to spend some time fishing in the boat before I decide weather or not I need another one. This boat also has the jump seats on both sides in the back for additional seating.

Yes the cover is back on it and the wife has been booted to the driveway since the boat takes up all of the garage grin

I love how the colors came out! I think it is one of the classiest/sharpest looking boats you will find. I think that we are going to try to get it out on Saturday to do the break in on both motors and then it is off to Lake Powell in Utah in a couple of weeks for a week long fishing adventure to break her in properly! Can’t wait.

Absolutely sweet boat man. A friend of mine who i fish with occasionally has a 1775 crossover. I’ve had the pleasure of fishing in it a few times and it’s been fantastic. It’s extremely comfortable, and I think you’re really going to enjoy everything about it. Congrats.

Yes I mounted that unit. Its a Helix 10 SI on the Cisco sur-lock mount. I’ve been pretty impressed so far.

The boat is amazing! I don’t know if I would change anything about it at this point. We have taken it on a few good week long trips and it performed beautifully. This boat also skis really well also, on two skis it feels like you can just stand up which is great for this elevation (7300ft). The fishing capabilities of this boat are leaps and bounds above what I have used prior to this boat so I am still finding new ways that the boat will help me find and catch fish especially when it comes to the minnkota/humminbird combination.

Have we got some fish slime in it yet……..kind of a dumb question lol. I’ll post some pictures of it in action so far this year. We have been using it a lot and are lucky enough to live in a place where we can use it almost daily.
