My lil white johnson is leaking

Don’t know where its coming from, but the inside of the motor case has fuel and leaking out of water pee hole and the inline for gas(just the holes in the case essentially) Why the heck is this happening? Motor was in running position. The gas tank was closed and bloated, but not too bad, had it worse on other outbaords with no leak.

Replaced the hose with OEM, emptied gas tank and refilled with fresh a week ago. Also hoping it didn’t cause damage elsewhere, or just something to clean up and all will be good:???:

Maybe from the carb itself? My 150 had warped float bowls and was causing all sorts of problems.

After further inspection it is coming from the carb. Might explain my other problems, just weird it wasn’t an issue with my last tank of gas, which was full too, and sat all winter no leaks.

Perhaps something with the needle or bowl, just not sitting right. After last outing it came out of the sweet spot again and acting up?

Fuel filter on side of engine that holds the metal screen wasn’t properly installed couple weeks ago

Last few days at work has a guy strungout and prematurely started freaking out when I got home. Had a neighbor help me out pressurize the system and check.

Hopefully issue I had before was bad gas, and this will fix the leak and all will be right in the world. Need to get a new vented gas cap as well, existing is non vent.

Sorry to hear it’s “little”….

I’m think’in that I would have taken “Little Jonnie” to the Doc. I’ve heard that they have a shot for some of these kind of things.
