My First Time Making Fish

I can honestly say I’ve never made fish before. Until tonight! I cooked up some sunnies and crappies tonight and they actually turned out! I layed them in a baking dish with some garlic butter and one of the numerous seasonings in my seasonings cupboard, and baked them at 375 for about 19 minutes. I did use a meat thermometer but as soon as I poked at a fillet with a fork I could tell they were done. Flakey and falling apart as I moved some to a plate. I also made green beans from the garden (from the freezer) and some garlic mashed potatoes. I think Billy would be proud. 😊

love fish! that looks too healthy for me but I am sure it tasted great. i very rarely bread my fish and fry in oil but my favorite is a pan with a pad of smart balance butter and filets covered in lemon pepper seasoning. so simple with no mess of oil and batter and still get some texture on the fish.

Make a little tin foil boat, lay the fillet in it with a patty of butter, aminascule dripping of milk, nice squirt of lemon and a pinch of salt with freshly ground pepper on the grill for maybe 7 to 12 minutes! OH Ya baby!

LOL you guys are funny. I’ve never eaten bullhead. They don’t look too appetizing…

Much of the freezer food I have packaged is meant for a meal of 2-3, so I’m looking forward to some leftover fish tonight. I’m going to make some fish tacos! )
