Trolling yesterday – 27” walleye. My personal best, biggest walleye I ever caught!
Had my fat little bruddah snap the pic before we threw it back for next time around.
Went home with 4 for me to clean and 6 for him. Great day on the river!

It was really fun. Best part was that it was such a great day with my brother. Just glad we got the pics.

Relative asked if I cared if she put the pic on social media and I said sure, the fish …. but not me. This is what she posted & I thought it was pretty funny. I do have a raw sense of humor & yes, I got the rib about the foul hook too.
Last year I caught the biggest sturgeon I’d ever seen and the old man that was with me tried to take a pic for me, before I threw it back. His first time ever having an iPhone in his hands and the result was no pic.
Took the wife out after work today for 2 hrs and we (she got them both but wouldn’t hold the first one) got these two…. one I’m holding is a 25” & the one she is holding is a much bigger 25 1/2” !
That’s 3 of the biggest walleye for myself & the wife ever, all caught this week. All were put back in the water after the pics.

Great fish! I thought I caught a record when I caught my first 27” walleye. Every inch over 25 they just get massive.
Nice fish, now someone’s going to have to teach you how to hold a fish while you take a picture if you continue to catch all these monsters
Feeling pretty good about our beginner’s luck. I’ll have to learn lots of things, like holding them so I don’t get slashed & bloody hands & I definitely need to buy a better (rubber) net.
