Other than aesthetics are there any advantages to one over the other? What is the avg. cost difference between the two?

Can’t run a standard canvas top or sides with the bubbles. You would need to run a bimini top which doesn’t offer the same protection. Bubbles break the wind on a long run but not nearly as well as a windshield unless you lean up close behind it. If you are getting a duel console for protection for your wife get a windshield.

Thanks guys for your replies Trying to justify the added expense for the full windshield. My wife will be going out with me a lot and she gets cold real easy. I thought the full would keep her warmer and it sounds like it’s worth the cash. Keeping her happier when spending this kind of money is always a smart thing to do.

Rob I have seen alot of your posts asking ab out the MX boat. Just went through the same thing. We went form a 20′ glass tiller the WX 2000T to a smaller tiller and did not like the smaller boat so we traded to the MX with the 150 SHO single axle trailer full windshield etc… Really like the boat, and like you this is our retirement boat. Have had it out on Leech in 3′ waves and it will handle them fine but can be a bit rough due to its width etc… But no complaints and we really do not go out if it is really rough plus we live on a 2500 acre lake to we really do not see the big waves. We fish Cass Lake alot and many other smaller lakes. Boat gets upon plane quickly but I did add the cobra hydrofoill right away to help that out. Running the reliancce 18 pitch prop and WOT is about 47-48. Good luck and If we can help out in your decision at all feel free to let me know.

Order the piece that covers the walking area between the windshields and she will be as warm as a bug in a rug. mrgreen

My wife insisted on getting the nicer more expensive boat that had the walk through windshield so she could stay warmer on those cool mornings….uh OK!

That’s your answer. My wife LOVES the W/S and she only goes out in the summer.
