I am having wiring problems where the lights and dash switches do not have enough power to work they flicker also the front trim switch does not function, but the motors start and function fine. Question, on my battery hookup I have a red wire a brown wire a black wire and a thinner black wire, do you know which of these go to positive and negative. They have tags on them but the writing is faded I think they say red wire (pos +) brown wire (auto bilge) black wire (no tag) skinny black wire (fuel ?). It has a brand new battery so I ruled that out. Also the auto bilge does not work. Any info would help as it seems like I am going to take it to a shop.

    Kris,
If you have a second give us a call here at Skeeter Boat Center and ask for Tony.
He will try and walk you through some things.

I actually emailed Eric at SBC and he has answered all of my questions, I wish I was closer just to bring it to you guys. Wiring has always been a headache to me.

Turns out that the main power fuse near the battery was corroded to the point there was barely any metal left for some reason??? Replaced and cleaned and everything is perfect, glad is what cheap and simple-doesn’t happen often for me. Thanks for all the input. Kris
