Congress is a crap show, one side in power but can’t decide who should lead they’re party, the other side won’t vote for anyone that is put up to lead, and that side keeps saying how dysfunctional that the other side is, and neither side will do what they were elected to do, and that’s to represent me and you.
We are in this down hill tumble because of those that put us here. The know who they are but can’t stop themselves from ruining everything.
I really tried to watch the President tonight, but after 3 min, I thought, Oh my God, what was this country thinking? went and found something else to until it was over.
Honestly im not sure anyone will beat the democratic nomination anymore. Believe what you want, in my limited experience with elections the 2020 election was a hot mess of fishy situations. Late night vote counts, missing ballots, dead people casting votes, etc. Not to mention letting millions of new people in. They’ll let them vote too, citizen or not, mark my words.
Trump has the popularity. The GOP should be banding together to support him and get everyone on board. Unfortunately that’s not going to happen.

I’m pretty sure he was proven innocent by the Durham report just in the last year or two. In fact I think they found more dirt on Hillary. I could be wrong about that.
Either way there’s been ongoing investigations for the last 7 years and the only thing found is nothing at all. Wasted taxpayer money. If they had something on Trump for election meddling they would have burned him at the stake years ago and wouldn’t be bothering with these half baked charges they’re pushing now.

I know there was way more investigation into the 16 election than the 20 election. Mueller reports, Durham reports, etc. They both investigated each other’s investigation. Lots of our money being spent and nothing happening. Regardless where you stand, you have to see that much as fact.

Polls also are saying that he’s beating Biden in the under age 30 block which if true is end game right there for 2024..

Don’t get me wrong. I hope you are right. I just don’t see anyone who voted for Biden last time changing their vote this time to Trump. Biden and trump are both the same people now that they were last election. Election are being controlled by major metro areas and they just keep getting bigger each year. The # of elderly primarily republican votes continues to shrink as people die and the # of new young primarily democrat votes continues to grow. Like I said, I’d love to be wrong. I guess we will find out in a little more than a year.

I don’t see anything substantive that makes me view Trump or Biden as “different” than they were leading up to the last election. The biggest difference this go round is that the GOP seems more divided with more in-fighting. They have to get the Speaker situation resolved and behind them. They also need to get that alternative candidate to Trump ironed out ASAP.
Biden was and still is an old, over the hill, establishment politician.
Trump was and still is an old, over the hill, businessman with questionable morals.
If either party suddenly blinked quick and moved on with a new candidate, they’d win the White House in a landslide.
I’ll still cross my fingers that a new conservative leader who dodges the sensational social stuff (gender crap, abortions, school curriculum, Disney fights) and focuses on the border, foreign affairs, our economy, and a more balanced budget somehow steps out of the shadows. Hopefully I don’t die of old age with them crossed.
