Tonight President Biden will address the Nation on the two wars we will finance. Ukraine & Israel.
I doubt there will be any mention of his North American policy’s. I think this is war stuff only designed to get the American peoples support and to warn our enemy’s not to meddle in either war. Leave the meddling to the United States.

Wonder if he’s going to mention the fact that we still don’t have a Speaker of the House since McCarthy got the boot 2 weeks ago…

There’s a cool language app out there that syncs up w your TV that will translate and closed caption it for you. Even has the ability to select a few languages that might get combined which is quite common among mixed countries.

For Joe it took awhile but the few you need to select to get clear meaning is English, Alzheimers, -1 chromosome and oatmeal.

I think I heard mention of a couple thousand troops at ready to head in that direction. I wonder if Biden’s wonderboy is included in that number since he seems to be good at communicating with foreign parties.

I sure wish Joe could speak with his eyes open. What the f has he got to squint at all the time.

You misread the room. People aren’t aghast that he was fired. People are aghast at how dysfunctional the GOP party is that they can’t even make up their minds on who should lead them nevermind agree to any meaningful legislation. Couple that with the fact that it took 15 attempts to even settle on Mccarthy in the first place and we are now almost a year into watching the clown show

    clown show

That is exactly how I would describe it. Can’t legislate anything while there’s no speaker. Dysfunctional would be an understatement in the House of Representatives right now.

I think we can say the same thing about the other side. Politicians are a waste of space and time.

Yeah, they were running so smooth prior. Do you even know why the speaker is there ? Do you know the rules and procedures for setting the budgets ? Do you know Pelosi did the same thing McCarthy was doing, but the liberals could careless if they do their job ? Yeah, school me how great the liberal congress was.. squad and all. coffee

Sometimes its OK to admit your political party is wrong or making a mistake. Can you do anything besides bring up Pelosi or the past? Lets move on.
I am a Republican and can say its a Clown Show right now and certainly a divided party (explains why McCarthy was removed as speaker).
We are getting nowhere fast being divided.

I full agree with this. Get your act together and govern. Pick someone to be speaker, legislate, and pass a budget which has a looming deadline on Nov 17.

This is not helpful for elections either. Gonna pay the price at the polls. Fully self-inflicted.

I suppose you would prefer that everyone march in lockstep with the party leadership? That is how the democrats have been operating and it’s working really well for them politically. I would prefer that a representative answers to their constituents. Not the party. And, when exactly was it that congress was running smoothly and passing legislation that helped the American people? I don’t recall a time. Gridlock is the best thing IMO.

    clown show

Totally – On both sides. Its simply a matter of what size of Shoes and Noses the clowns are wearing. Some are a just a little bigger than the others.

I could not agree more. The problem is that has not been the case for a long time, and isn’t likely anytime in the near future. The party side divide gets stronger and stronger each year. On both the politician side and the voter side. Its really sad. I use to always vote a rather mixed ballot. I’m as guilty as most in not doing so anymore. Until the elected people can start working together rather than simply following party lines, How can a voter be expected to vote any other way than down party lines. Voters are no longer voting for a person, they are voting a party. The system is broken.

I’m going to. I like comedy. Whenever Biden speaks something funny is likely to happen. It would be really interesting to see what would happen if the teleprompter got unplugged. I’m also interested to see what he portrays the Americans views are on the war. Also want to see how much US taxpayer money they are willing to throw at this war.

Probably something that we can’t post here.

My point is that none of this is helpful if you want to win elections. You can’t expect to keep control of the House or win the Senate/White House with this nonsense going on. Maybe I am wrong, but it does not look good to swing voters. No one can tell me that they think this is going to win over more voters with an honest face, and that’s the end goal here. To win elections and/or majority.
