Both our local theaters do that on Tuesdays.

We went to go see it a second time last night – it’s THAT good! My first time seeing a movie twice in theatres! And of course I had to get a tshirt at the store today to commemorate this milestone event! rotflol

Not a fan of Reynolds and since Marvel went woke, not a fan of them either.

I can’t stand comic/marvel or really any superhero movies 95.7% of the time, either. I’ll most likely check this one out though. I’ve seen the first Deadpool. Would it be best to watch Deadpool 2 before I see the new one?

Honestly, I’m not really interested in any over-the-top, sensationalized action/shooter movies. 90% of it is very unrealistic. That’s just something that matters to me and I know nothing is perfect, but I prefer realism/drama, or good comedy that’s not pure raunch. Or a light-hearted family or animated movie.

Life is crazy and stressful enough as it is… lol.

Deadpool 2 is a family film, true story

We are seeing a lot more Marvel/action type stuff because they export well. Remember when Hollywood put out lots of comedies? What’s funny here is not funny in China. Now that my grumble is over here are 3 comedies that are worth a second look: Young Frankenstein, Paper Moon, Big Labowsky.

Yes. And it helps to be familiar with other Marvel films as well since there’s a ton of jokes and references.

This movie is very unrealistic and contains lots of over-the-top, sensationalized action and fight sequences though so you might just want to skip it if it’s not your thing. Guess I should have included that in the original post so maybe there wouldn’t be so many haters replying. roll

This movie definitely isn’t “woke”. I’m actually surprised with how much they were able to get away with as far as jokes and satire and it’s hilarious!
