Muskie weight estimate

    Just wondering what a good weight range would be for this one? It was 51 inches long but no girth measurement. Caught in Eagle Lake Ontario.

    I’m 6’5 and 200 lbs. May help scale the fish better.

    In fisherman chart says 42lb but without a girth it could be more or less. A very nice catch congratulations.

    My 52” on a cheap scale was just over 41# and it appears to have had a larger girth than yours. Conservative guess, maybe 34-36#???

    Regardless, over 50” is a heck of a nice fish. Congrats!!!

    Based on those photos, girth appears to be about 20-22″ So I’d say 28-31lbs.

    Its hard to know for sure, but probably 30-35 pounds. It takes a heck of a build to hit 40 pounds. Beautiful fish regardless what it weighs.

    I agree but that is a beauty no matter what it weighs.
