Anyone ever use on of these? Look kinda cheap but for $34 dont seem to bad. Reviews on amazon are above average as well.

Havent heard anything about that model. This clam box holds 9 rods. Same price point.

December 29, 2015 at 1:32 pm #1588149The MTM doesnt look like it has that much good rod storage to me. Nothing should rattle around in a rod case because they are usually carried in all different manners. Many times roughly. For the most part they should be all foam and press fit everything inside.
Tackle then goes in a tackle box. But that’s not to say it wont work for you.
Just think about how you intend to transport the case. Plano makes some gun case shown on icenutz link for around the same cost that will hold rods with reels better. That’s because it’s a cheap Eagle Claw rod box. The hinges look like the will break at any moment in fridgid cold weather. But what ever work right?
