    I will be coming back from Venice, FL. in two weeks. Do you know how far Mayo is from Interstate 75? I just have to stop at the Bass Assassin plant. On the map it looks to be maybe an hour. Thought a guy from Florida might have more specific info. Thanks! cool

    I read your post wrong at first. Yeah, it looks like an hour from I-75 just north of Gainesville. I haven’t been to that part of Florida yet, so I have no insight. Keep an eye out for wild pigs and bears?

    Seriously, was just in Naples/Fort Myers 2 weeks ago and on the way back to RSW airport there were 5-6 wild “pigs” on the shoulder next to the road. Almost smeared bacon grease everywhere…

    Weird. I said it half jokingly, because when I drove down with my brother back to Jacksonville as a teen we saw quite a few, so I told Michelle and her mom to watch for them on our way down. We didn’t see one. I thought maybe they fixed the problem, LOL.

    Now if I can just show them a wild pig. They have been jonesing to see one ever since we got here. Preferably, alive (from a safe distance).
