It made me scratch my head…
Last Saturday was the first time I’ve taken a clarity reading this year. Water is high, some wood and other debris coming down stream. I heard some people talking about how dirty the water was.
My reading came in at 45 cm which is a few cm’s clearer then the best reading I took all of last year. Odd.
Anyway, here’s the info from last year taken at the Green Nav can across from Everts.

Just a wild guess on my part, but it seems we had an extended high water year last summer due to the Minnesota River pumping alot of western rain on us along with the Minnesota River mud. this would explain the dirty water last year.. It seams this year, the water is coming directly down the ol miss, not bringing much mud with it..
I keep hearing how dirty the water is, besides some timber and weeds the visibilty isnt that bad, actually its “perfectly dirty”
