My wife and I are relocating to…wait for it…Grand Marais. Gunflint Trail walleyes are on the menu. I head up tomorrow. Wish me luck. I hope to have my finger on the pulse of fishing up there, so give me a shout if you are headed in that direction.

Lots of great walleye lakes up there but nobody catches them threw the ice-so solve the mystery!

ran into some trouble on the way up. No injuries, but what a pain in the arse. Now I am in GM with no boat or canoe. I’ll have new stuff soon, though, it looks like. I will give the Trail walleyes a shot this winter and let you know. I’ve got a few ideas.

    Arrgghhh! Hope everyone is OK.

I love that area. The Devil’s track is a great little river, I caught my personal best Brookie there.

I’ve got my ear to the ground already, Phil. I’ll let you know. Maybe we can manage a swap; Leech for Trail.
