What movies everyone have they’ve watched over and over. In this house we’ve watched the great outdoors the last 3 weekends and grumpy old men/grumpier has made quite a few appearances. funny how it can be entertaining even after seeing it so many times.

I watch my top favorites repeatedly much to my husband’s boredom (we don’t really have the same taste in movies): The Punisher, X-Men series, Resident Evil, Pitch Black/Riddick Series, Blade, and of course Tank Girl.

Of these I’ve probably seen The Punisher and Tank Girl the most. But likely only because they are the only two of my top 6 that aren’t part of a series.

If I’m flipping though cable channels and see one of these is on, I’ll watch it again.

Comedy – Animal house, Caddy shack, Blazing saddles.

Westerns – Anything with Clint Eastwood.

Uncle Buck, The Great Outdoors and Planes, Trains and Automobiles are my 3. After those, It’s anything from Quentin Tarantino other than the Kill Bill series and Reservoir Dogs.

Can you tell I like John Candy?

I usually watch Zombieland if it is on while I’m flippin’ channels, although it has been on a lot lately. The PG version is not quite as much fun but there are so many good lines in that movie.

Woody Harralson, “Wanna feel how hard I can punch?” rotflol

    Woody Harralson,”Any regrets?”
    Bill Murry, “Garfield maybe.”

Not much for watching movies repeatedly. Though, there are those movies that have a special place.
“Arsenic and Old Lace” and “Harvy” an itch to watch again. Come to think of it “Jerimiah Johnson” and the classic “Blondie” series I’d watch again.

I’ve watched Jeremiah Johnson several times. The Revenant will soon be my most watched.

Arsenic and Old Lace and Harvey are high on the list. Saw Harvey again on TMC(?) a couple months ago. Those are two movies with great writing and whit.

Great writing and whit that’s for sure. Casting as well. I don’t think either movie would nearly be the same without Josephine Hull or the supporting cast in both movies.

As much as I love The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, it is often too much of a time investment for one sitting.

…..and Blazing Saddles is heavily edited, even for cable. Make sure to get the DVD or VCR of the original!
