Any input on the best place to mount the heading sensor for my Ulterra? Was debating between up on the bow next to the Ulterra or back at the console behind my helix. Not sure if any place has better signal/less interference. Boat is a wx1910.

    Thanks!

Does it not have to be 6 feet from the head of the Ulterram I thought?

Further from the trolling motor the better, but I think clear line of site helps.

Mine was mounted at Skeeter Boat Center right next to the anchor light socket.

I installed a Terrova a couple of months ago. I have a single console Lund Expolorer. I mounted the heading sensor on the console behind and a little to the left of the Solix. It’s tucked in under the bubble windshield. It’s a nice, out-of-the-way location. When SpotLocked, the jog feature seems to work good so it must be an acceptable location.

    Good Luck
