Mounting Transducers for Helix 5 DI GPS (gen 1) & Helix 9 Mega SI (gen 3)

    I have a Helix 5 DI GPS gen 1 transducer mounted on the transom. I’d like to keep this for lake maps/GPS and also add a Helix 9 Mega SI (gen 3) with transducer mounted on the transom. Can I mount these two transducers side-by-side without issues or do I need to put one on either side of the motor? Thanks for the help.

    I’d separate them if practical. Use transducer mounting boards so you can adjust positioning without drilling extra holes in your transom.

    Thanks Ron. My Helix 5 transducer is on a transom mounting board on the right side. I guess I could mount the other transducer on the left side (other side of motor) which would give quite a bit of separation.
