Mounting track prices… Wow

Wow the prices are insane on mounting tracks. Was thinking of adding 2 18″ tracks and getting the bases for my scotty rod holders. Go online find a price of 49.99 figure that’s not bad for 2 tracks…. Wait that’s the price of 1 track.

I understand boating equipment is expensive. Some things I’ve never been able to understand, like a $3200 depth finder. But I must say the track systems are to me the most outrageously priced boating accessory I can think of. I’d be $200+ deep by the time I have 2 tracks, end caps, covers, and adapters.

Yea, that stuff is like everything else… expensive. I got lucky last summer and found a set of 24″ers with adjustable holders and all for $125, used that a guy was taking off his boat. Best money I’ve spent in a long time.

Have a deal for you. Have a bunch of stuff from switching boats that does not work on new boat.

Two Bert’s Custom 36 inch single tracks, satin finish, one end cap on each (list price $103 each)
Two Bert’s Custom black 36 inch step pads (track inserts) (list price $41 each)
One Bert’s Custom deluxe single cup holder (list price $32)
Two Bert’s Custom tube type rod holders, ratchet, satin finish (list price $87 each)
Three Bert’s Custom pro series cradle rod holders with six inch risers (list price $43 each)
Two Traxstech 6 inch single tracks, clear finish, no end caps (list price $29 each)
One Traxstech 4 inch riser clear finish, no end caps (list price about $70)

Total List price for lot was about $750 – will sell entire lot for $300

You can save a few dollars by going with Cisco track. They also have the stops built in.

Their products are very well made. I have their tracks and risers. I would definitely recommend them.

I think Bert’s products in general are way over priced. I wanted a couple of their planner masts. The company trademark might as well be a guy bent over with his pants around his ankles.

Haha. The thing is its not like this is any complicated piece of equipment. You can get a set of stainless headers for a ls1 for less than the price of 2 of the longer tracks.
