Check out Cisco mounts or trax tech mounts.

I used a ram for my Helix 5 on my sled and it doesn’t budge.

The 1.5 inch ball on the Ram Mount with the short arm is what I went to with my HDS 5, it’s rock solid. They make a 1.5 handle bar ball mount. Stay away from the 1 inch they won’t hold anything bigger than a handheld.

Use the right size ram and don’t worry about it.

I tried the RAM mount and it just wasn’t as stable as I would like, the thing vibrated horribly. And with the removable windshield on my machine there just wasn’t a good spot to mount the unit that was easy to view and access.

I was looking around my machine and found the most perfect spot. The handlebar mount! I wrangled up a couple pieces of 1/8×3/4 aluminum bar, drilled a few holes, bent it to a slight angle, and done! It’s directly in front of me, easy to access, rock solid, and protected from branches or whatever that may hit it. Best of all it was FREE!

One option is to get the Rhino (Otter) Extended front ATV box. You can then put any electronics on a Genz Blue Box and just strap it down. There for it’s easily removable and you won’t need an extra flasher.

I installed the RAM ball on my Grizzly’s front rack so it’s close to the cig adapter for the powercord…

Painted a piece of maple and bolted it on the Griz rack then attached the bracket. Its close to the cig adaptor and works great.
