I was at a local tackle shop and someone pointed out that even on spot lock the live transducer would be sweeping or turning quite a bit. What’s been others experience? I saw a guide boat, with a shaft mounted on the side?
I manufactured a plate and mounted to the bottom of ultrex head to get away from the trans continual move with the motor. I use the summit pole kit exclusively for ice and boat. You do have to make a handle ext to be able to reach LS and turn Summit systems has a ball mount and I mounted a ball on the plate also. I also have a ball on a plate that goes into my Traxtec system on back gunnels. Great when trolling or spooning from back. That system works very well for us. 4 bolts holes already on bottom of ultrex head
