I recently purchased a Humminbird Helix 5 and bought the Ram Mount to put on my ATV. The ram mount or Humminbird does not come with hardware to mount the Humminbird gimbal bracket to the Ram Mount Gimbal bracket holder. I am just curious what size bolts and washers everyone uses to mount the two together? Thanks!
I painted up a 1×6 chunk of pine and bolted that down onto my rack, then just used the mount that came with it.

I like that idea! Did you run the power cord directly to your atv battery? Did you use inline fuse? Thank you!
Actually, everyone around here said there was not a cig adapter available. I couldn’t accept that in todays world, so I called down to the Factory in Alabama and they hooked me up. They said it was not on there website but they do have it. Talk to Matt down there in CS he’s got it dialed in!
The guys at the Humminbird booth at the ice show also told me that there was no ice ducer for the Helix 7, once again not true.
