I will be adding a HDS 10 to the dash of my wx 2100. I currently have a HDS 7 mounted right to the dash and plan on using both units at this location. Problem is it looks pretty tight to get both units in there. I will be mounting the 10″ on a Cisco mount and am still undecided on how to get the 7 in there. Anybody have some pictures on how they rigged theirs?
I can dig around for a pic but I had a HDS 8 & 7 on my 2100 dash. They were both on ram mounts. But I think you should have no problem with the 10 on a Cisco and the 7 on a Ram. Mount the 10 close to the edge of the dash and as far to the right as you can. You might need a longer Ram Arm but then the 7 will angle across and basically end up centered over the dash.
Right on, that is what I was trying to accomplish but without a ram. I was hoping to use 2 Cisco’s but there is a ballzout mount that has a lot of adjustments to it which I can see needing. The ballzout are pretty spendy though.
