Mounting a Clam 4 position rod holder to a benchseat

    I have an Otter Bench seat in my ice house and I don’t like all my rods lying around on the bottom of the sled while fishing or moving. Anyone think its possible to mount the rod holder kit to the back of the bench seat? Thanks

    Just buy a hard case for your rods. Fleet farm has a pretty nice one for 70 bucks.

    I’m pretty resourceful, I pretty much know how to do it, its just a matter if the bench seat is long enough for the holder

    you could pickup a rod holder rack, ( I think Rapala makes it) and bolt it to the back of the sled, I made a 6 rod holder out of PCV and mounted that so the rods are in the upright position, I use it while the shack is up and it makes changing from rod to rod easier.
