I received a message from Mark this morning that read:
“Hi! I just want to thank you for all of the hard work you guys do down there at Everts Resort. We went out last night at about 5:30 p.m. and absolutely crushed the Walleyes including a 29″, 12 plus pound behemoth which was released quickly after a couple of photos.”
Congratulations Mark on a GIANT of a Walleye and thank you for the release.

The open water bite has been very good for the past 3 weeks whenever the weather will allow us to get out. There seems to be nice concentrations of fish from the High Bridge in Red Wing all the way to the dam. Just keep moving until you locate and active school. During the day most of the fish are coming on a traditional Jig and Minnow presentation in 18-22′ of water. As the evening progresses they seem to creep in shallower and the bite turns mainly to plastics.
The ramps at Everts are in great shape and the bait shop is fully stocked and ready for you.
