    This is a very old mount with broken fins. It’s 28″ on the nose.

    Wow !!! Who called the fish police here? …… #walleyelivesmatter

    I’m sure all the critics here were absolutely pumped the 1st time they caught a walleye over 15″ and the last thing on your minds was the fishes well being.
    It was also pointed out to me by me that you only see this kind of criticism from someone of the weenug or whom has not ever caught a walleye that big so jealousy takes hold… As far as any of you judges know that fish could have been out of the water for less than a minute. Give the guy a break sheesh I’m sure there are more fish out there to be caught

    Anytime is a good time to educate a fisherman. My response about healthy release was simply defending the fishermen from those assuming poor CPR was at play. I took that opportunity to say how quickly you can CPR when prepared to do so. Assuming someone did wrong (however likely) is still an assumption and just commentary.

    For Reference, This fish was 29″, But my arm is not all the way extended.
